THE GREATNESS OF OUR GOD
When I was returning to school last week Sunday, my parents
were very busy. Since my Mama hadn’t gotten a new driver, I was left with no
other choice other than to go to school by public transport. I was the only
student in the bus I entered and the driver was driving very recklessly. I wasn’t
scared but just tired of hearing the voice of the other passengers who kept
screaming at the top of their voices like abecedarians the bus wasn’t comfortable
for me. Apart from having to sit on torn chairs, the noise from the exhaust
pipe was scary and the tyres were shaking seriously. I had only one person sitting next to me
since I sat at the extreme right of the last sit. She was a woman and I could
boldly place a bet that she was suffering from cagamosis from the way she was behaving,
the way she talked and from the every action she took.
As the car moved, my
thoughts followed. I stared out of the window (which actually didn’t have a
cover) and I got lost in my thoughts. I didn’t even notice, not until I got to
my destination anyway. I stared at the beautiful works of my father in heaven. The
landscape, the flowers, the animals, the trees, the rivers, everything was just
perfect. I marveled at the beauty that beheld my eyes. All I could do was to
keep quiet, tilt my head a little, close my eyes and worship. My God is a
really great one. I know that it is because of his great love for me I still
breathe. Though I haven’t been really useful in his vineyard, he still waters
me and keeps me. He hasn’t cut me off. I really Love him and I know he loves me
too. “When I consider the heavens, the works of your hands, the moon and stars
which you arranged, what is man that you keep him in mind, mortal man that you
care for him?”
Ose loves you, but God loves you more. Have a Fulfilling Month.
